We are inspired every day by the kindness of our restaurant teams. Throughout each year, they come together in so many ways to give back to our communities be it large planned events or spontaneously handing out meals to Vancouver’s most vulnerable. Together, we have donated over 100,000 complimentary meals to those that need it most. We are proud to have worked with the following charities, organizations, and many others! View some of our featured charitable events below. From 2009 to 2013 we hosted an annual Christmas Dinner experience for over 5,000 people that reside in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The events were held in collaboration with Union Gospel Mission and included a hot meal, drinks, and entertainment to bring a little holiday joy to those that needed it most. Our multiple Summer BBQ events helped feed over 6,000 of Vancouver’s most vulnerable residents. The event includes free food, entertainment, and games for all to enjoy. Each year we offer our corporate neighbours the opportunity to sponsor and decorate a tree at Glowbal or Black+Blue with all proceeds going to Covenant House. The result is a stunning display of seasonal spirit all in the name of charity.
